Terms of service

Write On Wood is a brand and division operated by Corporate Promotions Inc. (CPI). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and orders placed with Write On Wood.

1. Website and ordering

Corporate Promotions Inc. operates this website under the Write On Wood brand. Quotes and invoices for Write On Wood orders are issued by CPI.

This website is a quote-led product catalogue. Orders are not completed or paid for through the website. Pricing, quotes, proofs, and orders are arranged directly with our team, and each order is confirmed in writing by email, quote, invoice, or order agreement before production begins. If a written order agreement conflicts with these Terms, the written order agreement controls for that order.

2. Quotes and pricing

Prices are shown in the selected storefront currency unless stated otherwise. Final pricing, including engraving, branding, packaging, applicable taxes, and shipping, is confirmed in your written quote or invoice. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless the quote states otherwise.

3. Custom and branded work

For engraved or branded orders, we will provide a proof or mockup for approval before production. Approved proofs are final, so please review spelling, logos, artwork, placement, and layout carefully. By supplying a logo or artwork, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it and authorize us to reproduce it for your order.

Changes or cancellations requested after proof approval or after production has begun may not be possible and may be subject to costs already incurred. Any approved change or cancellation must be confirmed by us in writing.

4. Production and delivery

Production and delivery dates are estimates and are confirmed with your order. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or events outside our reasonable control, but we will keep you informed. Please review our Shipping policy for further details.

5. Returns and refunds

Returns, replacements, refunds, and credits are handled under our Refund policy and any applicable written order agreement.

6. Natural materials

Our boards are made from natural hardwood. Normal variations in grain, colour, tone, and pattern are inherent to the material, make each piece unique, and are not defects.

7. Intellectual property

Website content, including product designs, photography, branding, and text, is owned by or licensed to Write On Wood and may not be reproduced without permission. Customer-supplied logos and artwork remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim relating to an order is limited to the amount paid for the affected order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a liability, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.

10. Changes and contact
