Refund policy

All sales are final

Write On Wood is based in Canada and serves customers internationally. Because our products are made, prepared, or sourced for each order—and many are personalized or made to order—we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for change of mind, ordering errors, or preference changes.

Requests for an exception

You may contact us to request an exception. Each request is reviewed individually. Any voluntary exception is at the sole discretion of Write On Wood, must be approved by us in writing, and does not create an obligation to approve a similar request in the future.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what you ordered, please email christine@writeonwood.com within 7 days of delivery where reasonably possible. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the item and packaging. We will review the circumstances and determine an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, store credit, or a refund where required by law or approved by us in writing.

Changes and cancellations

Order changes or cancellations are not guaranteed once a proof has been approved, materials have been ordered, or production has begun. Any approved change or cancellation must be confirmed by Write On Wood in writing and may be subject to costs already incurred.

Shipping, duties, and bulk orders

Original shipping charges, return shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and other cross-border charges are non-refundable unless applicable law requires otherwise or we approve an exception in writing. Corporate, wholesale, or bulk orders are also subject to the written quote, purchase order, or agreement for that order.

Mandatory legal rights

Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under applicable law.
